[MAR 09] We have our first inmate to complete the full phase of our drug and alcohol treatment program here at the jail. This program presents a 29-session treatment program designed to engage, motivate, and stimulate processes of change in clients at all stages of recovery. This program is highly engaging and effective and will strengthen the developement of critical skills needed for recovery. Seen above is Jailer Doyle Fox, Michael Hicks, and counselor Elliott Sewell. |

[FEB 09] Employability skills classes are offered to the inmates each week. The classes are offered to learn WorkKeys® foundational skills assessments measure cognitive abilities such as applied mathematics, reading for information, and locating information. This certificate is only awarded to individuals who meet a certain performance criteria and skill proficiencies. Jackie D Short is another inmate to complete the classes. He is pictured above with his Kentucky Employability Certificate, Jailer Doyle Fox and instructor Jamie England. Information on the program can be found here. |
